aseXML Standards

aseXML is a standard developed by Australian energy industries to facilitate the exchange of information between participants of the energy industries using XML. The aseXML Standards Working Group (ASWG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of the aseXML standard.

GUIDELINES

Guidelines for the Development of A Standard for Energy Transactions in XML (aseXML) provide guidance and advice to parties who are designing aseXML documents for use within their industry. The guidelines are available as follows:

SCHEMAS

The aseXML schema consists of a number of individual files that must be combined to form the entire schema. The top level file is aseXML_*.xsd - where * is a specific schema release number - and all other files are incorporated by way of the W3C "include" mechanism in this file.
