Powerlink & Transgrid : Potential Upgrade of Queensland / New South Wales Interconnector (QNI)

 
The Final Report has been prepared following consideration of submissions received in response to the Interim Report.

The Final Report concludes that it is premature to recommend a QNI augmentation option at this time. As a network augmentation is not being recommended at this time, TransGrid and Powerlink Queensland are publishing this Final Report for the information of Registered Participants and interested parties. This report is therefore not a Final Report required under the National Electricity Rules when recommending a network augmentation.

A summary of the Final Report will be placed on the NEMMCO website. A copy of the entire document can also be downloaded from TransGrid’s and Powerlink’s websites.
