ASEXML STANDARDS

aseXML is a standard developed by Australian energy industries to facilitate the exchange of information between participants of the energy industries using XML. The aseXML Standards Working Group (ASWG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of the aseXML standard.

Guidelines

Guidelines for the Development of A Standard for Energy Transactions in XML (aseXML) provide guidance and advice to parties who are designing aseXML documents for use within their industry. The guidelines are available as follows:

Schemas

The aseXML schema consists of a number of individual files that must be combined to form the entire schema. The top level file is aseXML_*.xsd - where * is a specific schema release number - and all other files are incorporated by way of the W3C "include" mechanism in this file. B2B Documentation

Documentation relating to defining and coordinating the implementation of B2B business processes associated with metering and the retail electricity market.

 

Two industry executivecommittees provide recommendations and advice to NEMMCO on retail market developments:

  • The Information Exchange Committee (IEC), a body prescribed under the National Electricity Rules, with responsibility for B2B procedures.
  • The Retail Market Executive Committee (RMEC), a body established by NEMMCO to provide advice to NEMMCO and the wider industry on strategies and procedures for non-B2B NEM retail market processes.

FRC GAS HUB

Information for participants in Australian energy markets to connect to and use the FRC Hub infrastructure put in place to accomodate the VicGas and SAWAGas markets.
