NEMMCO has completed a consultation on development of the:
- Generating System Design Data Sheet;
- Generating System Setting Data Sheet; and
- Generating System Model Guidelines,
in accordance with clause S5.5.7 of the National Electricity Rules.
The Data Sheets and Model Guidelines are published below and take effect from 29 February 2008.
The Model Guidelines and clause S5.2.4(b)(6) make reference to the provision of model source code in an unencrypted form suitable for at least one of the software simulation products nominated by NEMMCO. Suitable software formats are:
- PSSTME, version 29, in the form of FLECS code or FORTRAN (PSSTME is a product of Siemens PTI (Power Technologies International));
- PowerFactory, version 13, in unencrypted layered model block diagram format, for any recently published version of Powerfactory (Powerfactory a product of DIgSILENT GmbH); and
- TSATTM, version 7, in User Defined Model form – the source code of any dynamically linked blocks (DLB) must also be provided (TSAT is a component of the DSAToolsTM, a product of Powertech Labs Inc.).
