NEMMCO has established a ‘generation information page’ on its website to provide information to the market on the capacity of NEM generation.
The generation information page reports information on the capacity of existing, committed and proposed generation projects within the NEM. It will include information on all generator registration classes and technologies.
If new information becomes available to NEMMCO in relation to a generation project, NEMMCO will update the generation information page with that information in a timely manner, after first verifying the information with the generation proponent.
The generation information page was made available after the publication of the 2008 SOO.
NEMMCO published a paper on the establishment of the generation information page, seeking comment in August 2008. Three submissions were received.
A final description of the generation information page, including a discussion of issues raised in the submissions is attached below.
