Pricing Event Reports are published to inform the market within four business days about the reasons why regional reference prices have exceeded $300/MWh in a trading interval. A major market disturbance or event where detailed review of market performance is warranted will be followed up with a Market Event Report when investigations are completed.
The introduction of the Directions Review changes to the National Electricity Code (NEC) on 9 December 2002 require NEMMCO, pursuant to clause 3.13.6A, to publish reports providing background information related to directions issued to Regsitered Participants. From 1 July 2005 the reports will be published pursuant to clause 3.13.6A of the Rules.
Below are the reports on directions that have been issued since 23 January 2003. Reports issued between 9 December 2002 and 23 January 2003 have been archived, and are available from the NEMMCO Information Centre.
