On 2 February 2008 at 17:34 hrs, mal-functioning fire deluge systems resulted in the tripping of the Keilor Terminal Station (KTS) A4 500 kV transformer. However, the A4 transformer No.3 bus 220 kV transformer circuit breaker failed to open.  Consequently backup protection tripped the No.3 220 kV bus at Keilor Terminal Station (KTS).
