This report has been prepared to describe the market outcomes arising from a SCADA data error on 10 May 2007 which significantly affected regional reference prices. The prices were not able to be rejected by the Manifestly Incorrect Input (MII) price revision process due to a software defect. This incident resulted in a number of enquiries to NEMMCO. The software defect was eliminated immediately after the event and improved procedures have been adopted to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence.
