Issue #512 - 7 October 2008
Bulletin No. 512 summarises the outcomes for period midnight Sunday 28th September to Saturday 4th October 2008.
Average maximum temperatures decreased in Adelaide and Melbourne, and increased in Brisbane, Hobart and Sydney.
Average prices during week 512 decreased in all the regions of the NEM. The highest average price occurred in New South Wales at $90.71, and the lowest was also in South Australia at $-155.13. The majority of prices fell in the $21 to $30 per MWh range.
Demand averages remained the same in New South Wales and Victoria, decreased in South Australia and Tasmania, and increased in Queensland. The regional demand high for the week was 11,008.1 MW in New South Wales, and the low was 947.0 MW in Tasmania.
